The management, maintenance and strategic development of the Port of Peterhead are the responsibility of Peterhead Port Authority (PPA), an independent Trust Port Board consisting of ten non-executives and one executive member. The appointment of the three non-executives will commence on 1st January 2027, is for three years initially with the possibility of reappointment and is part-time, typically 1–2 days per month. The position is remunerated and travelling expenses may be reimbursed.
