BMS Service Engineer

Salary Package: Up to -50,000 - -65,000 + Bonus + Car + Pension + Benefits

We are seeking an experienced BMS Service Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Siemens Building Management Systems to carry out planned preventative maintenance, reactive service, fault finding, commissioning, and optimisation of BMS installations across commercial and critical environments.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of HVAC controls, BMS software and field devices, with proven experience working with Siemens BMS platforms, including Desigo, PX and associated Siemens controllers and supervisory systems.

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on BMS systems.

• Diagnose and rectify faults across BMS controllers, sensors, actuators, valves, plant and associated control equipment.

• Service, maintain and optimise Siemens BMS systems, including Siemens Desigo/PX platforms.

• Undertake BMS software modifications, graphics updates, trend analysis and system adjustments.

• Fault-find HVAC control systems, including AHUs, FCUs, chillers, boilers, pumps, VAV systems and associated plant.

• Configure and commission BMS controllers and field devices.

• Review BMS alarms, trends and operational data to identify system faults and improve performance.

• Carry out functional testing of BMS-controlled equipment.

• Liaise with customers, facilities teams, subcontractors and other engineers to resolve technical issues.

• Provide technical support and advice to clients regarding BMS operation and energy optimisation.

• Complete service reports, maintenance records and documentation accurately.

• Attend emergency/reactive call-outs when required.

• Ensure all works are completed in accordance with relevant health and safety procedures and company standards.

• Proven experience as a BMS Service Engineer / Controls Engineer.

• Strong practical experience with Siemens BMS systems.

• Experience with Siemens Desigo and/or PX systems is highly desirable.

• Good knowledge of HVAC plant and mechanical services.

• Strong BMS fault-finding and diagnostic skills.

• Experience with BMS controllers, sensors, actuators, valves and control panels.

• Ability to interpret electrical drawings, control schematics and BMS points lists.

• Experience with BMS graphics, alarms, trends and software modifications.

• Good understanding of networking and BMS communications protocols.

• Strong customer-facing and communication skills.

• Full UK driving licence preferred.

• Siemens Desigo CC / Desigo Insight / PX.

• BACnet, Modbus and M-Bus communications.

• HVAC commissioning and optimisation.

• Energy management and BMS optimisation.

• Experience working within commercial buildings, healthcare, data centres or other critical environments.

• Experience with remote BMS monitoring and technical support.
