Our client are a modular Construction specialist and looking for an experienced Building Technology Engineer to provide advice and support on all aspects of Building Technology design with a focus on Building Automation and Controls Systems (BACS). They are seeking a hands-on individual with a can-do approach to projects delivery. What you will be responsible for: You will assist on the development of the Building Technology system architecture using open and well-established protocols such as but not limited to KNX, ModBus and BACnet. You will be able to use building automation logic using FBD or LUA. Undertake a review of existing design and develop proposals to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the building services systems and BACS Follow and assist in the development of the BACS system architecture and complete the detail design including drawings, schematics, control panel schedules OandM Manuals and documentation for the successful delivery of projects Review design documents, drawings and specifications, BACS sequences and equipment submittals and ensure their fitness for purpose When BACS are delivered by REDS10 suppliers ensure programming, set up, installation, testing, and commission of systems is completed to the required standards and protocols Ensure installation, testing, and commission of building services systems is completed to the required standards and protocols and that all documentation are in place.
