BMS Design Engineer

We''re working with a growing building controls specialist that is looking to appoint an experienced BMS Design Engineer to support the delivery of complex Building Management System projects across the UK.This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong engineer who is looking to broaden their experience across the full project lifecycle and progress into a more senior project engineering role.The Role You will be responsible for the design, technical coordination and delivery of BMS and Energy Management System solutions, working closely with engineering, commissioning and project delivery teams from concept through to handover.Responsibilities BMS and EMS design developmentProduction of points schedules and control strategiesDevelopment of descriptions of operation (DBOs)Specification and coordination of control panels, valves, actuators and field devicesBMS network architecture and systems designMechanical, electrical and multidisciplinary coordinationSoftware and graphics review and coordinationThird-party system integrationsSupport for FAT, SAT and commissioning activitiesTechnical support during installation and project deliveryProduction of as-built documentation and OandM manualsTechnical coordination with consultants, contractors and end users Requirements Proven experience within the BMS industryStrong understanding of HVAC systems and controlsExperience developing points schedules and control strategiesKnowledge of BMS hardware, control panels and ..... full job details .....
