BSL Tutor (British Sign Language Tutor) - Primary Setting | September Start

We are currently recruiting for an experienced British Sign Language (BSL) Tutor to join a specialist primary setting from September.

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled BSL practitioner who is passionate about supporting communication and language development for deaf and hearing-impaired children.

The Role:

• Deliver high-quality British Sign Language tuition and support.
• Promote effective communication across the school environment.
• Support pupils in developing confidence and independence through BSL.
• Work closely with teaching staff and specialist professionals.
• Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

• Recognised British Sign Language qualification (Level 2, 3, 4 or above).
• Strong BSL communication skills.
• Experience working with deaf or hearing-impaired children is desirable.
• Experience within education, SEND or specialist settings is advantageous.
• A patient, flexible and proactive approach.
