Connect Appointments is recruiting Blending Operatives to join an established food manufacturing business based in East Kilbride.Our client is a long-established business with over 100 years of history in the UK food industry, sourcing and blending specialist herbs and spices for the meat industry and beyond.What''s on offer?Temporary position with the opportunity for permanent employmentThree shift patterns available: Night shift: Sunday to Thursday, 10pm to 6amBack shift: Monday to Friday, 2pm to 10pmDay shift: Monday to Friday, 6am to 2pm 12.71 per hour - paid weeklyAs a Blending Operative, your duties will include:Safely operating machinery within a food production environmentLoading and unloading the production line and picking and packing herb and spice productsConducting quality checks throughout the production processHeavy manual handling as requiredTo be considered as a Blending Operative, you will need:Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment - essentialExperience using an LLOPA reliable, organised approach to work with the ability to work both independently and as part of a teamInterested in this Blending Operative role?
