Salary: andpound;162-andpound;223 per day

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and dynamic biology lessons across KS3, KS4, and KS5.
• Teach key biological concepts, from genetics to ecosystems, in an accessible and exciting way.
• Support students in developing their scientific skills for exams and future careers.
• Organise and lead practical experiments, fieldwork, and extracurricular science activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate biology into the wider STEM curriculum.
• Foster a love for science through interactive and inquiry-based learning.

Qualifications:

• A degree in Biology or a related subject.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
• Experience teaching biology in a secondary school setting.
• Strong knowledge of the UK science curriculum and exam requirements.
• Ability to inspire students and cultivate a passion for biology.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
