A well-regarded secondary school is looking for a Biology Teacher to join the science department as soon as possible on a long-term basis. This is a great opportunity for either an ECT looking to start their career or an experienced teacher seeking a supportive and well-structured department.

You''ll be joining a collaborative science team with strong leadership and a focus on engaging, practical learning that helps students develop confidence in science.

The Role

• Teach Biology across Key Stages 3-5

• Deliver engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum

• Support student progress, exam preparation, and scientific literacy

• Contribute to the wider science department and collaborative planning

• Maintain strong classroom behaviour and an inclusive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds QTS or is an ECT

• Strong subject knowledge in Biology

• Passionate about helping students understand and enjoy science

• Confident classroom management and ability to differentiate learning

• Committed to raising attainment and supporting all learners
