Biology Lecturer (Full-Time Maternity Cover)Reed Further Education are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Biology Lecturer to join a well-established education provider on a full-time maternity cover basis in NuneatonThis is an exciting opportunity for a Biology specialist with a strong Medical Science or Biomedical Science background to deliver high-quality teaching and inspire learners to achieve their full potential. The successful candidate will join from September for a maternity cover expected to last between 12 and 18 months. Salary: £33,500 - £51,500 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience) Contract: Maternity Cover (12-18 Months) Hours: Full-Time Start Date: September Contract Type: Temporary or Fixed-Term ContractKey ResponsibilitiesDeliver engaging and effective Biology lessons to post-16 learnersPlan, prepare and assess learning in line with curriculum requirementsMonitor student progress and provide timely feedbackMaintain accurate records and contribute to quality assurance processesSupport learners to achieve positive outcomes and progression goalsWork collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the learner experienceThe Ideal CandidateHolds a degree in Biology, Medical Science, Biomedical Science or a related disciplinePossesses a recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DET or equivalent)Has experience teaching Biology within Further Education, Sixth Form or Secondary EducationDemonstrates strong subject knowledge, particularly ..... full job details .....
