BIM Technician (MEP)

Your new company Hays are recruiting on behalf of an established MandE contractor for a Mechanical and Electrical BIM Technician to join their growing technical team.Your new role Working closely with engineers, project managers and site teams, you''ll be responsible for producing and coordinating BIM models and technical drawings using Revit MEP across a range of construction projects.Develop and maintain MandE BIM models using Revit MEPProduce detailed technical and installation drawingsCoordinate services with architectural and structural modelsCarry out clash detection using Revit and NavisworksUpdate models throughout the project lifecycleLiaise with engineers, project teams and subcontractorsAttend site visits and project meetings as requiredWhat you''ll need to succeed Minimum 2 years'' experience using Autodesk Revit MEP within a building services, MandE contractor or engineering consultancy environment.Experience producing and coordinating MandE BIM models and technical drawings.Good understanding of mechanical and electrical building services.Experience using AutoCAD.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.Strong communication, organisational and coordination skills.DesirableExperience using Navisworks for clash detection.BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud experience.Knowledge of ISO 19650 and BIM standards.Experience in commercial, healthcare, industrial, infrastructure or data centre projects.What you''ll get in return The chance ..... full job details .....
