BIM Technician - Building Services (Revit MEP)

A dynamic and award-winning building services consultancy is looking for a motivated and detail-driven Revit MEP Technician to join their growing BIM team. The Role
You will be part of a collaborative team of engineers and BIM specialists, responsible for developing coordinated 3D Revit models and 2D documentation for mechanical, electrical, and public health systems, aligned with RIBA Work Stages 1-5.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed Revit MEP models, including:
- Mechanical ventilation, heating and cooling systems
- Domestic water and drainage networks
- Electrical containment and infrastructure
- Coordinate MEP services with architectural and structural designs
- Produce 2D drawings, schematics, and Revit schedules
- Support COBie data integration and model parameter management
- Create and edit Revit families and system components
- Contribute to automation and data workflows using Dynamo
- Ensure compliance with internal CAD/BIM standards and document control protocols
Requirements:
- Right to work in the UK (British citizen or valid UK work visa)
- Relevant technical qualification (degree or diploma in Building Services Engineering or similar)
- Minimum of 2 years'' experience using Revit MEP in a building services environment
Desirable (training provided if needed):
- Experience with Navisworks or Revizto for clash detection
- Familiarity with COBie data standards
- Knowledge of ISO 19650 and BIM Level 2
- Basic skills in Dynamo scripting
