Job description - the role

On Behalf of Arup, we are looking for a BIM Designer (multiple opportunities) for a 6 month contract based in London (hybrid)

Candidate Profile: Key accountabilities, skills & experience

Purpose of the role:

The successful candidate will support the delivery of complex, high-profile projects including data centres and laboratory facilities, working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop, coordinate and manage BIM models throughout the project lifecycle.

This role requires a strong background in Revit MEP modelling, model management and building services coordination, with the ability to work independently to produce high-quality drawings and models.

What you''ll do:

• Manage and maintain project BIM models in accordance with project and company standards.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and discipline engineers to define and implement project deliverables within the BIM environment.
• Produce coordinated MEP models using Revit across a range of building services disciplines.
• Develop and coordinate mechanical, electrical and public health services including
• Support project teams through technical BIM delivery and model development.
• Participate in model and design reviews, identifying clashes and coordination issues.
• Produce high-quality drawings, layouts and design documentation directly from Revit models.
• Coordinate services with other disciplines using Revit and Navisworks.
• Utilise Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and Forma collaboration platforms to support project delivery.
• Ensure BIM outputs are delivered to programme deadlines while maintaining quality standards.

The skills you''ll need:

• Proven experience as an MEP BIM Modeller within the building services industry.
• Strong knowledge of Revit MEP and BIM workflows.
• Experience managing and maintaining project models.
• Experience using Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and/or Autodesk Forma.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and public health systems.
• Ability to develop models and drawings independently with minimal engineering input.
• Strong coordination and multidisciplinary working experience.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively to tight deadlines.
