Bim Coordinator

Overview

Position BIM Coordinator – Location: Leeds – Salary: £45k - £55kResponsibilities

Responsibilities will cover all aspects of BIM deliverables across the lifecycle of a construction project, including work winning, preconstruction, construction and handover.Work with the project team to ensure systems, processes and procedures are established correctly to ensure effective information management (graphical and non-graphical) across the project.Support BIM managers with implementation, setup and management of BIM protocols and toolsChair initial kick off workshop with consultants and supply chain to agree BEP and appendicesExtract BIM data from project models, carry out data validation spot checks and create required data deliverables and data drops at the required stages of the projectManage the delivery and federation of models at all stages of the project lifecycleLead the design coordination process and support the project teams with regular workshopsRegularly review and update project BIM tools, ensure parties can access the latest informationCarry out model audits, report and monitor QA to ensure BEP and EIR compliance and adherenceProvide clear direction to project team on the use CDE and BIM toolsExperience / Qualifications

Working knowledge of Autodesk Revit and Solibri.Good 3D technical proficiency producing models with Revit or equivalent.Excellent clash detection experience using Solibri and BIMcollab or equivalent.Experience auditing models for BEP compliance, understanding of LODs.Good understanding of the concept of Common Data Environments.Competent in MS Office applications including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.Good 4D technical proficiency and experience running clash detection, ideally in ..... full job details .....
