About the Role
A construction consultancy is seeking a BIM Co-ordinator to support the production of Mechanical, Electrical, Public Health, and Builderswork layout drawings and schematics. The role involves using Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks to deliver high-quality, coordinated project information across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities
Produce M, E, and PH drawings to project requirements.
Develop builderswork opening details and layout drawings in compliance with firestopping specifications.
Review Stage 4 information and raise RFIs for discrepancies or errors.
Collaborate with specialist sub-contractors to produce fully coordinated models.
Create drawings or sketches to resolve design issues.
Ensure adherence to BIM protocols and standards.
Provide timely, cost-effective solutions to coordination issues encountered on site.
Highlight financial or buildability concerns arising from updated design information or contractor submissions.
Support the project team in developing design drawings from concept through to construction issue and As-Built stages, incorporating technical submittals into the Revit model.
Candidate Requirements
Proven experience producing MEP construction issue drawings.
Strong proficiency in Revit.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team.
Strong organisational and IT skills, including familiarity with CDEs and working within agreed file structures.
Commitment to continuous professional development and learning.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple sites.
