Billing Specialist (3-Month Contract) An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Billing Specialist to join a growing organisation within the education sector on an initial 3-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional with billing experience to join a busy and collaborative finance team, supporting the accurate and timely processing of customer billing across multiple sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing billing activities, performing reconciliations, supporting month-end processes, and resolving a variety of billing-related queries. This role would suit someone with strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Process and manage regular billing cycles across multiple entities and locations. Handle a range of non-standard billing activities, including extracurricular services, events, trips, and other miscellaneous charges. Perform billing and deposit reconciliations and support month-end accounting activities. Manage billing adjustments, discounts, and account amendments. Raise credit notes and process contract-related adjustments where required. Liaise with operational teams to resolve billing queries and ensure accurate account information. Maintain billing information across third-party customer portals and internal systems. Investigate and resolve customer billing discrepancies in a timely manner.
