3-Month Contract with potential extension (Hybrid)PE-Backed Growth BusinessReading 2-3 days per week in the office A private equity-backed business experiencing significant growth and transformation are looking for an experienced Interim Billing Specialist/Manager to support a critical finance and billing improvement project. Reporting directly to the UK CFO, you will play a key role in reviewing, documenting and improving the reconciliation process between our operational booking platform and financial accounting systems. This is a hands-on assignment ideally suited to someone with strong billing, revenue, aged debt and process improvement experience who enjoys investigating issues, implementing solutions and leaving behind robust, scalable processes. Key Responsibilities: Billing and ReconciliationReview and validate reconciliations between the booking platform and the ERP systemInvestigate, identify and resolve outstanding reconciling itemsWork closely with Finance and Customer Services teams to understand and rectify process gapsDocument all findings, reconciliations and resolutions Process Improvement and DocumentationDevelop and document a robust monthly reconciliation processCreate process maps and swimlane documentation using existing company templatesSupport the development of a Risk and Control Matrix frameworkIdentify opportunities to improve internal controls, efficiency and automation Debt Management and CollectionsReview and document parent debt management and ..... full job details .....
