Leeds | 6-Month Fixed-Term Contract | Full-Time

Search are recruiting on behalf of a well-established business in Leeds, looking for a Billing Assistant to join their finance team on an initial 6-month contract with a potential to be longer.

This is a busy and varied role that would suit someone with previous billing, finance administration, or accounts experience. You''ll be responsible for producing accurate invoices, resolving billing queries, maintaining records, and supporting the smooth running of the finance function.

Responsibilities

• Raising and processing sales invoices accurately and on time.
• Reconciling billing information and investigating discrepancies.
• Managing billing queries from customers and internal teams.
• Keeping financial records and spreadsheets up to date.
• Producing reports for management and other departments.
• Building positive relationships with colleagues and customers.
• Supporting process improvements and general finance administration.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a billing, finance, accounts, or administration role.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• A proactive and team-focused approach.

This is a full-time, office-based role, working Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm. The position also offers free on-site parking and benefits from excellent nearby transport links.
