Job Role: Bike Maintenance Tutor (Cycle Mechanics)Location: HMYOI WerringtonSalary: From £30,000 per annumContract: Permanent, full-time Role Overview We are recruiting an enthusiastic and experienced Bike Maintenance Tutor to deliver high-quality cycle mechanics training within a custodial education setting at HMYOI Werrington. As a Bike Maintenance Tutor, you will plan and deliver engaging, practical training programmes up to Level 2, supporting learners to develop core cycle maintenance, repair and diagnostics skills. Alongside technical delivery, you will promote safe working practices, employability skills and personal development, helping learners progress toward further training or employment opportunities. Working as part of a wider education team, you will play a key role in creating a structured, supportive and motivating learning environment.Key ResponsibilitiesTeaching, Learning and Delivery Deliver cycle maintenance and repair training programmes up to Level 2 Plan and deliver engaging, hands-on sessions aligned to awarding body standards Develop Schemes of Work and lesson plans that meet curriculum objectives Adapt delivery to meet individual learner needs and abilitiesAssessment and Learner Progression Assess learner progress and maintain accurate records Support development and review of Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) Identify additional learning needs and implement appropriate support Prepare learners for assessments and support successful ..... full job details .....
