Job Title: Bid Writer - South East Salary: £40,000-£50,000 per annum I am recruiting on behalf of a leading highways and infrastructure contractor who are seeking an experienced Bid Writer to join their growing team in the South East. This is a great opportunity to lead the production of winning quality submissions, working closely with the Bid Director to shape strategy and develop compelling responses that set the business apart. Responsibilities: Lead and coordinate high-quality written bid responses Research clients, gather intelligence and develop strong win themes Liaise with internal teams, subcontractors and suppliers to gather content Support with bid presentations, site visits and client meetings Maintain bid collateral (case studies, templates, best practice documents) Collate client feedback and drive continuous improvement Requirements: Proven track record in producing successful bid submissions Experience in highways maintenance, public sector or civils/construction is highly desirable Strong writing, editing and organisational skills Confident communicator who thrives in a collaborative team environment Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities under pressure Hybrid working - minimum 2 days a week in the office Package: £40,000 - £50,000 depending on experience Private medical insurance, pension scheme and wellbeing services Subsidised onsite meals, parking and gym membership Excellent working environment with genuine progression ..... full job details .....
