Location: Remote / Hybrid
Rate: £300 to £400 per day D.O.E.

Our client is an established Civil Engineering Contractor delivering projects for public and private sector clients across the UK. With a growing pipeline of tender opportunities, they are looking to supplement their Pre-Construction team with an experienced freelance Bid Writer.
 
Working closely with the team, you''ll be responsible for producing clear, compelling and compliant tender submissions, helping to develop win themes, value propositions and high-quality written responses.
 
We''re looking for someone with:

• Proven Bid Writing experience, ideally within Construction, Civil Engineering or another technical environment;
• Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills;
• The ability to turn complex and technical information into clear, engaging responses;
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines;
• Confidence working with operational teams and senior stakeholders to gather the information required for submissions.

Experience with APMP/Shipley methodologies, Adobe, Publisher or Visio would be advantageous, but isn''t essential.
 
The role & rate:

• Remote/Hybrid working - with the ability to attend the client''s Gloucestershire office approximately once a week desirable.
• Up to £400 per day D.O.E.(Outside IR35)
