Bid Manager

Location: Chorley Contract Type: Maternity Cover Job Description This role operates at both an operational and strategic level, playing an important part in driving business growth. The Bid Manager will lead a hands-on, end-to-end bid management process, including writing high-quality submissions. The business typically pursues opportunities valued between 1m and 100m across logistics, data management, inventory management, procurement and supply chain management. These opportunities span sectors including automotive, beverage, defence, health, rail and utilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing compliant, compelling bid submissions that clearly communicate our value proposition and demonstrate why customers should choose TVS Supply Chain Solutions. We are looking for an enthusiastic, organised and experienced Bid Manager/Writer to join our business-winning team. You will be confident managing every aspect of the bid process, from initial opportunity identification through to final submission. Duties and Responsibilities Identify and track potential opportunities, communicating updates to the wider team. Work with the Business Development team to align proposals with the agreed win strategy. Manage the full bid lifecycle, including Requests for Information (RFIs), Expressions of Interest (EOIs), Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQs) and Invitations to Tender (ITTs).
