Overview
Bid Manager role at Theatre Projects, London office with flexibility to work from home up to 3 days per week. Lead the preparation and submission of bids for architectural design projects in the UK and internationally.Responsibilities
Lead the preparation and submission of PQQs, proposals and bids for building design projects, studies and competitionsCollaborate with directors, project leads and other team members to develop detailed and competitive proposalsCoordinate with architects and external practices on joint bidsIdentify opportunities by monitoring tender portals and OJEU notices and present relevant opportunities to managementResearch and gather information about clients and projectsEnsure all required information and documents are included in submissionsCoordinate with team members to ensure bids are completed on time and meet client needsPresent information clearly using words, numbers and imagesWork both collaboratively and independently when neededDemonstrate strong attention to detail, organizational skills and the ability to work under pressureGenerate, revise and maintain standard documents and policiesQualifications
Five years or more experience in preparing bids in architectural or construction contextsProficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and Adobe InDesignExperience with resource planning and fee setting for bidsAbility to track resource outlay on current projects to inform future fee proposalsExcellent copywriting, editing and proofreading skillsAbility to work on your own initiative and within teamsGood organizational and interpersonal skills and the ability to work under pressureFluency in written and spoken EnglishProof of the legal right to work in the UKDesirable
Proficiency in other languagesFamiliarity with Adobe Creative SuiteA degree in architecture, journalism or a related fieldEmployment details
This is a full-time, permanent position for 35 hours a week, based in our London Office. The company offers flexible working based on project demands, with remote working 2-3 days per week.Salary
£35,000 - £45,000 dependent on experience.Benefits
