Overview
A Bid Manager with several years'' experience bidding in a Technical Service environment predominantly in the Defence sector will take on a customer facing role, with responsibility for managing and coordinating the full bid life-cycle process. The successful Bid Manager will be a key member of the sales team of a leading Technical Consultancy, where you''ll focus on Defence and Security, working primarily with the MOD.Qualifications
A Degree qualification ideally in a technical discipline.Experience in government procurement as well as business to business bidding.Proven experience of bidding in a technical services environment, predominantly in Defence / MOD.Preparation of commercial and technical bid or proposal documents.Experience of client contact.You must either hold or be eligible for UK Security ClearanceResponsibilities
Managing the full lifecycle of bids including support to Contract negotiation.Preparing and delivering compelling bid content and documentation aligned with customer requirements.Management of government frameworks.Liaising with legal teams on bid information.Benefits
