Bid Manager (MandE Engineering)Location: South of England / London AreaContract Type: Permanent, Full-TimeSalary: 70,000 - 85,000+About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Bid Manager to support the successful delivery of work-winning activities across complex Mechanical and Electrical engineering projects. Working closely with technical, commercial, and operational teams, you will lead bids from initial opportunity through to submission and agreement, ensuring high-quality, competitive proposals.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the full bid lifecycle from qualification through to submission and handoverDevelop and implement bid strategies aligned with client requirements and business objectivesProduce high-quality written submissions, presentations, and tender documentationCoordinate internal teams to ensure bids are effectively resourced and deliveredSupport the development of competitive pricing strategies alongside estimating teamsManage governance processes and support decision-making across bid stagesIdentify and manage risks, implementing clear mitigation strategiesBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and supply chain partnersDrive continuous improvement through lessons learned and performance feedbackAbout YouEssential:Proven experience in a Bid Manager or senior bid role within MandE, engineering, or constructionStrong understanding of tendering processes, governance, and bid management frameworksExcellent written and verbal communication ..... full job details .....
