Bid Manager - Tier 1 Main Contractor



The Role

We are seeking an experienced Bid Manager to join a leading Tier 1 main contractor, managing tenders for major construction projects across a diverse portfolio.

You will lead the bid process from initial opportunity through to final submission, working closely with pre-construction, estimating, commercial and operational teams to deliver high-quality, competitive tenders.

• Manage the full tender process, including PQQs, SQs and ITTs.
• Develop bid strategies and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
• Produce compelling, client-focused tender submissions.
• Work closely with estimating and pre-construction teams.
• Manage tender programmes, deadlines and submission requirements.
• Lead bid reviews, client presentations and post-tender interviews.

• Proven Bid Manager experience with a Tier 1 main contractor or major construction business.
• Strong understanding of construction tendering and procurement.
• Excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple bids and tight deadlines.

• Competitive salary of -60,00080,000, depending on experience.
