Benjamin Grace are recruiting on behalf of a leading civil engineering and rail infrastructure contractor for a Bid Manager / Senior Bid Manager to join the South Region Pre-Contracts team. This Bid Manager role is a key position within the work-winning function, supporting strategic growth across a diverse portfolio of infrastructure projects. The successful Bid Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping bid strategy, leading high-quality tender submissions, and driving consistent improvements in work-winning performance. This is ideal for a commercially aware and detail-focused professional with strong experience in rail or civil engineering environments. Bid Manager / Senior Bid Manager Key Responsibilities Lead and manage bid submissions from early opportunity stage through to final tender submission Coordinate inputs from estimating, commercial, planning and delivery teams Develop high-quality PQQ and tender responses ensuring compliance and clarity as a Bid Manager Write, edit and review technical and commercial submission Chair tender progress meetings and manage submission programmes and deadlines Work closely with Regional Directors and senior stakeholders to identify and pursue new opportunities as a Bid Manager Analyse client feedback and support continuous improvement of bid processes Contribute to post-tender reviews and lessons learned activity Support development of work-winning tools, templates and best practice Bid Manager About ..... full job details .....
