The Job you ll do We are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Bid Leader to join our Product Solutions team. In this role, you take ownership of assigned opportunities from qualification through proposal submission and negotiation. You bring together technical, commercial, and customer requirements to develop competitive solutions that create value for both and our customers. Reporting to the Business Unit Director Product Solutions, you work closely with the Sales Director, Engineering, Costing, Project Management, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Quality, and other key stakeholders. You will also provide day-to-day direction to the Engineers supporting your bids. This is a key role for someone who combines a strong technical foundation with commercial judgement and enjoys working at the centre of complex customer opportunities. As a Bid Leader, you take the lead in turning customer opportunities into strong and competitive technical-commercial proposals. You assess customer requirements, define the bid strategy, identify key risks and opportunities, and coordinate the people and expertise needed to deliver a high-quality proposal. You work closely with engineering and commercial teams to develop technical solutions that meet customer expectations while remaining commercially sound and aligned with objectives.
