This role supports data-informed decision-making across the organisation by shaping and prioritising BI solutions, coordinating tasks and processes, and delivering impactful data insights.Responsibilities
Product Vision and RoadmapCollaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into a clear vision for the BI product roadmapDefine and prioritise key objectives for BI solutions, aligning them with the overall business strategy
Backlog Management, Task Management and Process DefinitionWork collaboratively with the BI team to prioritise backlog items based on business impact, feasibility, and alignment with the product visionImprove existing agile methodologies to manage the BI development process, including task delegation, progress tracking, and change management
Team Leadership and CollaborationAct as a thought leader and trusted advisor to the BI team, providing guidance and mentoring
Communication and Stakeholder ManagementArticulate the value proposition of BI solutions to diverse and senior stakeholders, translating complex data into clear and actionable insightsPresent product roadmaps, progress reports, and key findings to leadership and stakeholders
Performance Measurement and ImprovementDefine and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the usage and effectiveness of BI solutionsAnalyse data to identify areas for improvement and recommend optimization strategies
Qualifications
Experience as a product owner, business analyst or similar role, ideally within a BI contextStrong understanding of Agile methodologies and product development lifecyclesExceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audienceProficiency in data visualization tools and techniquesKnowledge of data science and AI conceptsWork Style and Benefits
