BI Engineer

BI Engineer London | Permanent | Up to £65,000 per annum | Bonus + Excellent Benefits Proactive IT Appointments have partnered with a leading British brand in their search for a BI Engineer to join the team on a permanent basis. This is a key role in the Business responsible for the delivery and development of the organisation wide BI infrastructure, bringing together data from our core systems to provide a single view of the business and its strategic partners.Experience required: Strong experience in data engineering, including ETL/ELT, data pipelines and modern cloud data platformsStrong understanding of data warehousing, dimensional modelling, Kimball principles and data architectureAdvanced SQL/T-SQL skills, including query development, optimisation and troubleshootingStrong Python, PySpark or similar programming skills for data manipulation and automationExperience integrating data from APIs, databases, files and other sourcesExperience with data quality, pipeline monitoring and troubleshootingExperience working with CI/CD, source control and DevOps practicesExperience developing and maintaining semantic models using Power BI, SSAS or similarHands-on experience with modern BI tools, preferably Power BIExperience working in an Agile development environment Benefits: Annual performance-related bonusGenerous staff discountGenerous pension scheme with 8.5% company contribution25 days annual leave with option to buy an extra 5 days holiday annuallyEnhanced maternity and ..... full job details .....
