Data Engineer (BI Developer) - x 512 month contracts 74.26 per hour (Inside IR35)3 days per week - Preston (PR4) A Business Intelligence (BI) Developer is responsible for designing, developing and maintaining business intelligence solutions within an iterative development environment.Working closely with internal and external stakeholders to transform and present information into meaningful outputs through reports and visualisations. Typical duties include (but are not limited to):Working with stakeholders, analysts and other developers to understand systems and collaborate on the implementation of appropriate BI solutions.Translate business requirements and rules in into technical design specifications.Build and deploy BI solutions using appropriate code standards, configuration and change management process and procedures.Working with multidimensional and relational data sets to support the creation of Cognos Analytics Framework Manager Models and Tableau data sources.Update all development activities in Air data analytics change management database and ensure all statuses follow a development lifecycle.Working within an Agile Development framework, participating in regular development sprints and providing updates on daily standups.Develop ETL pipelines and manage database queries and conduct analyses on source data.
