Role: Better Outcome Lead
Salary: £41.42 per hour
Job Type: Full time, Temporary
Hours: 9am to 5pm
About the Role:
As an improvement manager, you will provide direct, hands-on support to individual practitioners across the Help and Protection and Corporate Parenting directorate
Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting practitioner needing additional help
* Helping to meet expected standards of the services
* Enhancing quality and consistency of assessments, plans and interventions
* Facilitating coaching and reflection dialogue to strengthen practice
* Monitoring and reviewing changes, offering further guidance to sustain improvement
Who We Are Looking For:
* Education: Degree in Social Work (or equivalent)
* Licenses: Social Work England registered
* Experience: Minimum 3 years post qualified experience in direct employment with an English Local Authority
Skills:
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong case management and problem-solving ability
* Resilience and empathy when working with complex cases
* Proactive team player who values safeguarding and empowerment
