Role: BESS Project ManagerLocation: Manchester / Site-BasedContract: Outside IR35Rate: Up to 600 per dayDuration: 12 monthsSector: Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) / Renewable EnergyH9 Talent Solutions is working with a leading organisation within the renewable energy sector to recruit an experienced Contract BESS Project Manager to oversee the delivery of a major Battery Energy Storage System project in Manchester.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in BESS, renewable energy or complex electrical infrastructure projects to take responsibility for a significant project through its construction and delivery phases.The RoleAs BESS Project Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of the project, coordinating contractors, consultants, suppliers and key stakeholders to ensure works are completed safely, on programme, within budget and to the required technical standards.Key responsibilities will include: Lead the day-to-day delivery of a major utility-scale BESS project. Manage the project programme, budget, milestones and key deliverables. Coordinate EPC contractors, civil contractors, electrical contractors, OEMs and specialist suppliers. Oversee site activities including civil works, electrical installation, BESS installation, grid connection and commissioning.
