Bereavement Counsellor
About us: Princess Alice Hospice is a charity supporting people in life, death and grief. We''re dedicated to working closely with individuals, communities and organisations in the London Boroughs of Kingston and Richmond and large parts of Surrey, to ensure more people receive the support they need. About the role: We are looking for an experienced Bereavement Counsellor, with an interest in spirituality, to provide high-quality clinical assessments and individual bereavement support for adults needing to access our Bereavement Service. This key role will play a significant part in enabling us to deliver our commitment to holistic, person-centered care and develop our Bereavement Service. About You: You will be a qualified counsellor, with a strong understanding of the theories of bereavement and significant loss, insight into human development and at least two years'' post-qualification experience. Skilled in conducting clinical assessments and providing culturally sensitive, empathic, non-judgmental, bereavement counselling for adults (in-person and via electronic media), your calm, professional approach will complement your excellent interpersonal skills.
