The postholder will manage and coordinate the Housing Benefit Team and wider Revenues, Benefits and Customer Contact service, to enable effective delivery of service aims and agreed targets, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, good practice, corporate and service objectives Key ResponsibilitiesLead, manage, and develop the Housing Benefits team to ensure delivery of high-quality, compliant, and customer-focused services aligned to performance targets.Monitor, analyse, and report on service performance, implementing improvements and corrective actions to meet statutory and corporate objectives.Oversee complex benefits cases, system performance, and data integrity, ensuring accurate processing, reporting, and compliance with relevant legislation.Support wider RBCC operations, including deputising for senior leadership, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborating across service areas.Candidate CriteriaProven experience managing or supervising within a high-volume, customer-focused environment, ideally within Revenues and Benefits.Strong knowledge of Housing Benefit ..... full job details .....
