      <description>Location: Rugeley | Salary: Negotiable | Type: Permanent | Job Title:  Bench Wirer  Location:  Rugeley  Salary:  -DOE   Full-Time | Permanent    The Role   As an Wirer, you will be responsible for the assembly, wiring and testing of electrical components, looms and control panels in line with engineering drawings, build documentation and customer standards.   Key Responsibilities    Wire and assemble electrical components, control panels and cable looms to engineering drawings and build instructions  Install cable looms and harnesses across a range of electrical assemblies  Carry out crimping, soldering, lacing and termination activities to required standards  Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics and electrical layout drawings  Work with a variety of connector types, conduit systems, trunking and cable management solutions  Conduct functional, continuity and insulation testing of completed assemblies (training provided where required)  Complete manufacturing and quality documentation including MITPs, Traveller Documents, FAIRs and QARs  Work to IPC-620 standards and internal build procedures  Maintain compliance with all quality, health &amp; safety, environmental and security procedures  Support continuous improvement and lean manuf...</description>
