About the Role
Pertemps Northampton is seeking experienced Bench Joiners for a full-time position in Kettering, paying £14 per hour. The role operates Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 4:30pm. As a Bench Joiner, you will produce bespoke timber windows and doors from scratch, managing individual projects from initiation through completion. Key responsibilities include manufacturing joinery items, interpreting technical drawings and specifications, and operating woodworking machinery. Candidates must demonstrate proven experience in high-quality joinery, particularly constructing timber windows. This hands-on position demands exceptional craftsmanship and meticulous attention to detail throughout each project.

The Role
As a Bench Joiner, you'll be responsible for building bespoke timber windows, door etc from scratch, managing each project from start to finish. This is a hands-on role where you'll work on your own projects throughout the week, ensuring exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail.
What You'll Be Doing
- Manufacturing bespoke timber windows from start to finish.
- Working from technical drawings and specifications.
- Operating woodworking machinery and hand tools safely.
- Maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
- Keeping your work area clean and organised.
- Working independently while contributing to a skilled workshop team.
- 3–5 years' bench joinery experience.
- Proven experience manufacturing timber windows or similar bespoke joinery.
- Ability to work independently and produce high-quality finished products.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Reliable, hardworking, and committed to delivering outstanding workmanship.
