We ve got an exciting opportunity for a Bench Joiner with a fantastic company located in Ashby-de-la-Zouch, which is currently expanding its team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and prioritises a customer-first approach. As a Cabinet Maker/Bench Joiner, you will play a crucial role in crafting and assembling bespoke wooden components for quality furniture and fixtures, contributing your expertise to ensure excellent project outcomes. This is a permanent role and the working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Key Responsibilities of Bench Joiner Include: Interpreting technical drawings and specifications to meet project requirements Operating woodworking machinery and hand tools for shaping, cutting, and assembling Measuring and cutting wood accurately for precise fittings Collaborating with designers and the installation team to deliver exceptional craftsmanship Upholding strict health and safety standards in the workplace Benefits: The position offers a competitive salary of £14-£16 per hour depending on experience Additionally, you will enjoy benefits such as private health insurance, access to an employee assistance program, a contributory pension scheme, and ongoing professional development.
