Bench Joiner

Are you a skilled Bench Joiner who takes pride in creating exceptional bespoke joinery? Do you enjoy transforming high-quality materials into beautifully crafted finished products? Our client, a well-established and highly regarded joinery company based in St Ives, is looking for an experienced professional to join their growing workshop team on a full-time, permanent basis. Working Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm. As a Bench Joiner, you will play a key role in the production of bespoke joinery projects, taking them from initial preparation through to final assembly. Working within a modern and well-equipped workshop, your responsibilities will include: Cutting, shaping, and preparing timber to precise specifications Manufacturing and assembling bespoke joinery items ready for installation Reading and interpreting technical drawings and plans accurately Managing multiple projects while maintaining high standards and deadlines Adapting designs and specifications to meet individual client requirements Monitoring material stock levels and reporting shortages or quality concerns To be successful in this role, you will have: Proven experience as a Bench Joiner within a bespoke joinery environment Strong knowledge of traditional craftsmanship alongside modern joinery techniques Confidence using a wide range of hand tools and power tools Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work A good understanding of Health and Safety practices within a ..... full job details .....
