The work involves laminate and veneer panels and drilling and routing aluminium extrusions. Key Responsibilities Operating routers, hand trimmers, pillar drills and chop saws Machining and assembling components accurately from drawings and cutting lists Inspecting and measuring work to meet quality standards Preventative maintenance of machinery and equipment Supporting other areas of the factory when needed Training and supporting other staff Following safe working practices and wearing the correct PPE Requirements 2–3 years minimum in joinery, woodworking, furniture manufacturing, shopfitting or a similar environment Experience with laminates, veneers, hardwoods, softwoods and sheet materials Good understanding of technical drawings A trade qualification (NVQ Level 2/3) or an apprenticeship in a joinery-related discipline is preferred GCSE ...
