Bench Joiner

My client is a specialist manufacturer of solid surface products, working with materials including Corian, HIMACS, Krion and other premium surfaces.Due to continued growth in their business, they are seeking for skilled bench joiners, cabinet makers or bespoke furniture makers who would like to develop their careers and train as specialist solid surface fabricators.You do not need previous experience working with solid surface materials. They are looking for people who already have strong practical skills, take pride in their workmanship and are comfortable working within a busy manufacturing environment. Full training will be provided by our experienced team.THE ROLE:You will initially work alongside experienced solid surface fabricators, learning how to manufacture bespoke worktops, reception desks, washroom products, healthcare surfaces and other specialist items.Your training will include: Reading and working from technical drawings. Cutting and machining solid surface materials. Forming and assembling components. Creating seamless joints and edge details. Fabricating sinks, upstands and specialist features. Sanding, finishing and polishing completed products. Checking finished work against drawings and quality standards.
