Job Title: Bench Hand Location: Haverhill Salary: DOE - (Depending on experience) Hours: 40 hours - Monday to Friday - 07:30 - 16:00 Contract Type: Full time, permanent Sector: Manufacturing Our client is looking for an experienced Bench Hand to join their workshop team on a full time, permanent basis. They are looking for a skilled and reliable Bench Hand to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in producing high-quality products and has a real eye for detail. Working as part of an experienced team, you will assemble furniture from CNC-machined components, using a range of hand and power tools while working to drawings and plans. Key Responsibilities Assemble furniture accurately from CNC-machined components Use a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively Read and interpret technical drawings and plans Carry out quality checks throughout the assembly process Check finished and in-process work for defects before products leave the workshop Identify and resolve any issues during the assembly process Work accurately and efficiently to meet deadlines and client requirements Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment Work independently as well as collaboratively as part of the workshop team Support general workshop duties and continuous improvement when required.
