Bench Hand Joiner

We are delighted to be recruiting for our client based in Peterlee who require a Bench Hand Joiner to become part of their existing team. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone who wants a better work/life balance with a 4 day working week but yet still earning a full-time wage. Hours of work are Monday-Thursday 6.00am-4.30pm. This vacancy is temporary leading to permanent for the right candidate. Duties of the role include; Operating various cutting saws including band saws and panel cutting tools Using hand tools such as drills, nail guns and airtools Working to specific measurements given in the brief Quality checking products for defects and imperfections Setting up and running various machine cutting equipment Adhering to strict health and safety guidelines with in the workshop Working to targets to make sure production objectives have been met Experience Required: Suitable candidates will have experience in operating wood cutting equipment such as beam saws and panel saws Due to the high volume of candidates responding to our adverts unfortunately we are not always able to provide individual feedback.
