Our vibrant and friendly client based just outside Bishop''s Stortford, is looking for Assembly / Wiring / Bench Operatives to join their open-plan production warehouse team. These are mainly seated, bench-based roles (hence not on your feet all day).Key duties include:Carrying out simple manual wiring tasksBasic sub-assembly of vehicle wiring productsCrimping and related assembly workWorking from basic drawings and diagrams (full training provided)The ideal candidates will:Have a flexible, proactive, team-focused attitudeDemonstrate good communication skillsBe able to follow diagrammed instructions accurately and complete ongoing quality checksThis is a 4-day working week:Monday and Tuesday: 07:00-17:30Wednesday and Thursday: 07:00-17:15Total: 39.5 hours per week. No Fridays.These roles start on an ongoing temporary basis, with potential temp-to-perm opportunities for selected candidates. A fast-track, ASAP start is available.Own transport is desirable (though not essential) due to the location.
