Behavioural Teaching Assistant

The Teach Team is recruiting a dedicated and resilient Behavioural Teaching Assistant to work in a welcoming and supportive all-boys secondary school. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference by supporting students who require additional behavioural, emotional, and pastoral support to help them succeed both inside and outside the classroom.Working alongside experienced teachers and pastoral staff, you will help create a positive learning environment where students feel supported, challenged, and encouraged to achieve their full potential.Key Responsibilities Provide one-to-one and small group support for students with behavioural, social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs. Build positive, professional relationships that encourage engagement, confidence, and resilience. Implement behaviour management strategies in line with the school''s policies. Support students in developing self-regulation, social skills, and positive coping strategies. Assist teachers in maintaining a calm, safe, and inclusive learning environment. Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teaching and pastoral teams.
