The Role - Behavioural Teaching Assistant

As a Behavioural Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting 6-8 pupils in the school''s SEMH unit. You will provide 1:1 and small group support to help pupils manage behaviours, engage with learning, and develop social and emotional skills. You will work closely with the class teacher, SENCo, and other staff to implement strategies that support positive behaviour, wellbeing, and curriculum access.The ideal candidate will be patient, nurturing, and confident in working with pupils with SEMH or behavioural challenges, providing structure, consistency, and support to enable each pupil to thrive.
