SEMH PRU Teacher

Are you a qualified SEN Teacher ooking for a rewarding opportunity in a Behavioural School? We are seeking dedicated professionals with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) certification to support and deliver engaging lessons across various subjects.

Interviews are this week!



Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons and provide dynamic, engaging learning experiences.

  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively, using positive behaviour management strategies.

  • Adapt teaching methods to support students with ASD, ADHD, SEMH

  • Provide 1:1 and small group interventions to support student progress.

  • Collaborate with SENCOs, support staff, and external professionals to create tailored learning plans.



Requirements:

  • QTS or HLTA certification is essential.

  • Experience in teaching, covering, or supervising lessons in a SEN or PRU (Pupil Referral Unit) setting.

  • Strong understanding of SEN and SEMH strategies to support diverse learning needs.

  • Ability to build positive relationships with students and promote a safe, inclusive learning environment.

  • A proactive and adaptable approach to classroom management.
