This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a background or interest in music, media or the creative arts, who is passionate about supporting young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.The successful candidate will use their creative skills and experience to engage students, build positive relationships and help them develop their confidence, behaviour and emotional well-being.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide 1:1 and small-group support to students with SEMH needs.Use music, media or creative activities to engage and motivate pupils.Support students in managing their emotions and developing positive behaviour.Implement individual behaviour plans and tailored support strategies.Build strong, trusting relationships with students and encourage positive engagement in learning.Work closely with teachers and the wider pastoral team to support students'' progress.Promote a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment.RequirementsExperience working with children or young people in a primary school, secondary school, PRU or alternative provision setting.A background or interest in music, media, performing arts or other creative ..... full job details .....
