Do you have a passion for supporting pupils with behavioural and emotional needs and helping them develop positive strategies for managing their behaviour?

A supportive and inclusive SEN School in Newbury is seeking a Behaviour Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. In this role, you will support pupils who may present with challenging behaviour, helping them regulate their emotions, engage positively with learning and overcome barriers within the classroom.

You will work with students who may have a range of additional needs, including SEMH, ASD, ADHD, learning difficulties and behavioural needs. You will provide 1:1 and small group support, helping pupils develop positive relationships, emotional regulation skills and greater confidence in their education.

You will work alongside experienced Teachers, Teaching Assistants and pastoral staff who are committed to providing a safe, consistent and structured environment for every pupil.

This Behaviour Teaching Assistant role will involve:
* Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils with behavioural and emotional needs
* Supporting pupils with emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
* Building positive and trusting relationships with pupils
* Helping create a safe, calm and structured learning environment
* Supporting pupils to engage positively with learning and classroom activities
* Working closely with Teachers and pastoral staff to provide consistent support
* ASAP start
* Newbury location, accessible by public transport
* Behaviour Teaching Assistant role within a supportive SEN school
