Job Opportunity: Behaviour Support WorkerLocation: Beckfoot Thornton Contract: Long-term and Short Term supply (likely temp-to-perm) Term time onlyStart Date: ASAPBeckfoot Thornton is seeking a committed and caring Behaviour Support Worker to join the team from Febuary 2026 on a long-term or short-term supply basis, with the potential to become permanent.This is a fantastic opportunity for a Behaviour Support Worker who has experience supporting the wellbeing, behaviour, and learning of pupils-particularly vulnerable learners-within a welcoming and inclusive school community.Key Responsibilities:Support pupils'' wellbeing, behaviour, and attitude to learningIdentify and respond to safeguarding concerns in collaboration with colleagues and external professionalsBuild positive relationships with families and encourage engagement with school lifePromote inclusion, independence, and positive values in pupilsTrack and monitor behaviour, attendance, and safeguarding concerns.Make welfare calls and support strategies to improve attendance and punctuality.Assist with lesson planning, pastoral care, and behaviour management.Organise and support extracurricular and enrichment activities.Maintain accurate records and contribute to the wider school environment.What We''re Looking For:Experience working with children or young people, ideally in educationExperience working with children with SEMH and/or SENStrong understanding of safeguarding and child protectionExcellent communication ..... full job details .....
