Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and group support to pupils with SEMH needs.
- Assist in implementing behaviour management strategies.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with students to encourage positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
- Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to tailor learning experiences to each pupil’s needs.
- Monitor and report on students'' progress, adapting support strategies as required.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with children or young people, particularly those with SEMH needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Relevant qualifications in education, youth work, or social care are advantageous but not essential.
